Jesus (Wisdom) declares, “I stand at the Door and knock. If ANYONE hears my voice and opens the Door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me”. Rev. 3:20

V1. Does not Wisdom Call Out? Does not Understanding raise her voice?

V2. On the heights along the way, where the “paths” meet, she takes her STAND;

V4. To you O men, I call out; I raise my voice to ALL mankind!

V13. To Fear The LORD is to Hate Evil; I Hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.

V33. Listen to My instruction and be Wise; DO Not ignore it!

V35. For whoever finds Me finds Life and receives favor from the Lord.

V36. But whoever fails to find me harms HIMSELF; ALL who Hate Me love death.

We must not only open the door and let Him in, we must also be willing to “call” out, to raise our voice and be heard where two paths meet. There are only two choices, two paths set before each one of us and much is at stake; life or death, righteousness or evil. Today is the day of salvation, today do not resist, today answer The Knock on the Door

Darkness always precedes the light. Gen. 1:5 “The evening and the morning, were the first day”. The Lord has decreed that we do not got from Light to dark, but rather we move from darkness to Light. The bright day dawning is in reference to “The Morning Star”, Jesus the Son of God. All hope is never lost as long as He remains, and His Kingdom is without end it is everlasting. He who was hung on a cross, sentenced to pay the price of which he himself was not guilty of, died and was placed in a dark tomb, then sealed by heavy stone. Darkness seemed to have won the battle, silence and despair swept across the land that once just days ago was in jubilant rejoicing. Then out of the darkness bursting forth in radiant LIGHT, Jesus arose from the dead! Shattering the darkness in glorious splendor, that stone moved out of His way ALIVE for evermore was His victory song. Dear brothers and sisters we are indeed in a struggle of darkness and light, we MUST NOT lose Hope, we MUST not yield to despair, our eyes MUST be fixed on Him who ALWAYS triumphs over the darkness. We too must make our stand. We must stand firm on the promises of His Word, and in the midst of the battle, in the midst of dark prison walls Praise and Declare the Name of The LORD our GOD…He came to set us FREE! Darkness is repelled by the Light, ALL is exposed by The Light of Truth.

The Book of Proverbs is FULL of these three edifying pursuits of Righteousness.

1:1-7; 2:1-12; 3:13, 19-20; 4:5-7; 8:1, 10-12; 9:1,10:13,14 just to point out a few

For these commands are a Lamp, this teaching is a light, and the corrections of discipline are the way to life. Proverbs 6:23 NIV

Colossians 1:9… We have not stopped praying for you, and asking God to Fill you with the Knowledge of His Will through all spiritual Wisdom and Understanding.

God changes not, neither to the left nor to the right, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. As we grow in these three areas of discipleship, we are transformed more and more into His quality, His character, into His likeness.

To edify and build up, to strengthen and encourage, one another.

A War and A Wedding Feast

Soon and Not Yet says The One who Was, and Is, and is To Come.

Mathew 24, 25

The times in which we are living, bring an eager expectation to those that are in earnest prayer, discerning this season in which we hunger for His imminent return. A brief look into these two chapters should, as is my prayer, stir within us all a spirit of anticipation and a call to action.

The Week of Jacob’s Trouble; a seven year period also referred to as The Tribulation Period. Before we delve to deep into this time and season I would like to call our attention to a custom of which most are not too familiar with, that is the observance of the bridal week, as well as the custom of the bridegroom preparing a place at his fathers house, for he and his bride. An ancient near eastern custom and is biblical in context and understanding is that as the soon to be wed bridegroom would first need TO GO PREPARE a place at HIS FATHERS HOUSE. So that when the time came for the Wedding Feast and Celebration to occur the couple would have a “place” to remain. Yeshua (Jesus) told His disciples He was going to “prepare a place” in His Fathers House, so that where He is we could be also. Sounding familiar, now add to this the observance of the bridal week. A period of seven days the bride and bridegroom rejoice in celebration and consummations of the marriage vow or “covenant”.

Seven days or one week. Now back to The Week of Jacob’s Trouble, or The Tribulation Period. It was declared in the book of Jeremiah, and understood and expounded upon deeper in the book of Daniel, that “Seventy Weeks” were determined upon the nation of Israel/Judah for the idolatry and abominable acts conducted within its Holy borders and of most importance The Place of His Name; The Temple. In Daniel ch. 9 Daniel gives and account that at 69 weeks or (sevens or years) Messiah would be “cut off”. There remains a Week or seven year period for Jacob/Israel (those in Abrahamic/Mosaic covenant) to fulfill or complete this original sentence of punishment from YHWH.

Now during this seven year period as mentioned above, The Tribulation period great evil, war and bloodshed which will fill the valley pictured above “to the horses bridle,” will be unleashed upon the earth. While those in covenant with The Son will be celebrating the “Wedding Supper of The Lamb”.

Sounds coincidental or far fetched? The world currently exists in a dispensation of “Grace” when this age ends that is the “Church Age” this dispensation ends. And we resort back to the dispensation of “Law” or to put it another way the dispensation that was in place prior to the “Age of Grace”. How does this “Age” or Dispensation of Grace End? The “Church” must be removed or “taken” away. This would be the often elusive talked about “Rapture” (harpazo) of The Church. On the Day of Pentecost the church was birthed by the out pouring and “infilling/indwelling” of The Holy Spirit (Rauch ha-Kadosh). Paul states that The Lawless One (son of perdition) will not be revealed until “He that restrains him, is “taken” away”.

The church infilled with the Holy Spirit is to be removed in a miraculous occurrence, as it is The Holy Spirit in The Body of Christ that is to restrain evil or the lawless one giving way for the ushering in of Jacob’s Trouble, and the rise and manifestation of the Anti-Christ. Leading ultimately to The Battle of Armageddon. We must then as in the parable of the Ten Virgins be vigilant in our Preparedness of the coming of the bridegroom. He IS The Bridegroom and He IS Coming for His Bride!

A lamp with its wick trimmed and a replenished reliable supply of oil is the call to those that will make themselves ready. An earthen vessel, full of the Holy Spirit of GOD, fully equipped and made ready for The Trumpet call to meet The Lord in the air. The same Wedding Feast, the same War, in the same time frame, is rapidly approaching humanity. The only question is where will you be?

V 3. For the lips of an adulteress drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil; V 4. but in the end she is bitter as gall, sharp as a double-edged sword.

The adulteress could be an actual enticing female or it also could be an enticing spirit, as found in The Garden account. The promises of the democratic left are as sweet sounding as honey, oh it sure would be nice if we all lived the extravagant lifestyle of the “political” elite. They promise FREE education, FREE healthcare, Open borders, LIVE the way you FEEL. It satisfies our desires to live life without restraint. But in the END, the final conclusion of the matter is Your very own demise. You and your family, your neighbor will be left with nothing wanting and waiting for the fruition of their promises. All the while they live their lives to the fullest measure of delight and excess. Do Not Be Deceived dear fellow countrymen, they have NOT Your best interest at heart. Fear God Keep His commands, and proclaim His Liberty, yes discipline seems hard at the moment but GREAT are its rewards.

Many believe that this communal society departed from the wayward trends of the Priesthood and of ancient Jerusalem and departed to keep a more pure and faithful obedience to The Word of God. Some scholars believe that John the Baptist was of this sect, John was the “Preparer of The Way” for the coming of The Lord.

It is speculated that The Essenes lost their influence by departing Jerusalem rather than keeping their light (witness) in that place, I am grateful they departed and left for antiquity the document record of Truth and validation of scripture.

2Corintians 6: 14-18

What fellowship, harmony, commonality, agreement; Paul is asking does a follower of Christ Jesus (“Son of God” , a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven), have with any of those that are of the kingdom of darkness, death, hell , and the grave?

7:1 Since WE have these promises, dear friends, let US Purify ourselves from EVERYTHING that contaminates body and spirit, Perfecting Holiness out of Reverence for GOD.

Two Kingdoms, totally opposite in quality and character are on a collision course. There MUST come a time, and we are in that time, when A complete identification with one or the other is declared.

A decision will be revealed , a direction established from the results of today. Will The Most High God hear the cry of those in the wilderness? Will He allow and grant us grace that we might re-establish righteousness in our land? Or will He give us that which we deserve and our reward be enslavement? God alone is Sovereign!

Daniel 2:21 (b)…He sets up kings (rulers) and deposes them. 4:25;..He is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes. 4:34; His Dominion is an Eternal Dominion; His Kingdom endures from generation to generation.

Not our will, but Your Will be Done! On this earth in this nation as it is in heaven.

As the three Hebrew men were told to bow and worship the “image” or be cast into the FIRE. Let their courage, their faith, their complete trust and devotion to God Almighty be ours this day. “Our God is more than able to deliver us from the fire and from your hand, but even if he does NOT; We will Not Bow down”. Dan. 3.

LORD let US stand for RIGHTEOUSNESS in the face of persecution. And IF you give us victory today, may your people wholly commit themselves to establishing and exalting righteousness in THIS Nation!

Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man…

2…his delight is in the Law of The LORD

3 He is Like a Tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not whither. Everything he does prospers.

May the roots of the tree of which we are likened to be well watered with The Living Water and established in Him. May they run deep and strong so as the tree may endure the storms of life, and not be moved.

As We enter the fall season it is always a time of reflection and of Thanksgiving.

Psalms 100:4 Enter His gates with Thanksgiving and His courts with Praise.

We give thanks to You O LORD, for All your wonderous blessings of this past year. We acknowledge our need of you in our lives for a hope and a future. We look not just with our natural eyes, but also with discerning spiritual eyes to contemplate what You are about to do. We give Thanks for You are GOOD.

Proverbs 31

Mostly known as the Proverb of the “Virtuous” wife proverbs 31 is that and also much much more. The name, Lemuel means in hebrew belonging or devoted to GOD. We can then say this proverb is an instruction for those that are Holy (set apart) much like the articles in the tabernacle [Holy Place, Holy of Holies]. This proverb is a challenge and a charge to “The Church” the “Bride” of Christ Jesus.

Firstly, to not be given to worldly passions and desires. Then to be of clear and sober mind; knowing WHO we are in CHRIST [Kings and Priests and joint Heirs], not given to substances that dull our senses. To DEFEND those that are defenseless (the unborn, little children, poor, the oppressed, the widow). To STAND and contend for Righteousness!

Secondly, this proverb for verses 10-31, just like Psalms 119 are an acrostic (22 letters of Hebrew alphabet). Signifying again that the WORD must become flesh, that is we “the church” must be His representatives in the earth. Faithfully executing our duties to which we pledged our allegiance and obedience to.
