Heavenly Father let that cry from my heart come before you this morning, that I would seek you and and be steadfast in walking in your truth, your light, and your great LOVE. Be not far from me today Most High GOD, I will cling to you.

v11. I have HIDDEN your WORD in MY heart that I might not sin against you.

v14. I MEDITATE on your PRECEPTS and consider your Ways.

To establish a dwelling for your word to live and reside both in my HEART as well as to rule my MIND. Inhabit this tent, this earthen house with ALL your GOODNESS.

Praise YOUR Holy Name LORD!

Lifted Up

Psalms 119:17-24

v19. I am a stranger on earth; do not hide your commands from me.

v21. You rebuke the arrogant, who are cursed and who stray from your commands.

To worship literally means to humble oneself and to lie prostrate before the object of your affection and devotion. Humility is the polar opposite of pride, we can choose to humble ourselves or we can lift up our own will and exalt what we can do or achieve. Let The Lord ARISE in our hearts as we humbly submit to His WILL and His WAY.

Someone is knocking on the Door

Psalms 119:25-32

v27. Let me UNDERSTAND the teaching of your precepts; then I will MEDITATE on your wonders.

v30. I have chosen The WAY of TRUTH; I have set my HEART on your laws.

v32. I run in the PATH of your Commands, for you have set my HEART Free.

Jesus declared in Jn.14:6 “I AM The WAY The TRUTH, and The LIFE”.

Acts 9 & 24 state that followers of The Messiah were disciples of The WAY!

Mt. 7, Lk. 11, Rev 3. announce that He is at The Door of our HEARTS and He is KNOCKING, so that we might allow Him entrance into our lives to come in and have fellowship with us. That He might TEACH us and guide us into His Truth.

Heavenly Father, today we humbly OPEN the DOOR our hearts, our ears, our minds, our whole being to you. LORD we ask that You would come in and lead us into the Way of LIFE and Truth. By your Holy Spirit Lord let us run in the path you have established for us.

Psalms

119:33-40

v34. Give me UNDERSTANDING, and I will keep your law and Obey it with ALL my Heart.

v36. Turn My Heart toward your statutes and NOT toward selfish gain.

Open the eyes of my heart Lord to your Word, and give me understanding, so that I might know you and follow you ever more closely. Reveal the marvelous mystery and treasures hidden in your word. As food for my soul.

Son of Man

Vav: 6 ; Nail

v41. May YOUR Unfailing LOVE come to me, O LORD your Salvation according to Your PROMISE, then I will answer the one who taunts me.

v48. I lift up my hands to Your commands, which I Love, and I meditate on your decrees.

Just as Jesus (Yeshua) lift up His hands and was nailed to the cross, His great Love for us bought our Salvation. He is the WORD made flesh, in obedience to it was His delight. His promises are true and faithful, and He will fulfill them as we are washed and renewed in our hearts and minds by the WORD.

Sword of the Spirit

Psalms 119-49-56

v.49 Remember YOUR Word to your servant, for You have given me Hope

v. 52 I remember Your ancient laws O LORD and I find COMFORT in them.

v 55. In the night I remember Your NAME, and I will keep your law.

The Sword of the Spirit is The Word of God, the Logos and the Rhema the written and the spoken Word. Jesus was and IS the WORD made flesh. It is in His Name and thru His Word we find our Hope, Our Joy, Our Comfort, Our Strength, and Our Peace. May we become proficient in our skill with this SWORD!

Psalms 119: 57-64

Chet: 8 Inner Room , fence, to protect

v58. I have sought YOUR FACE with All My Heart; be gracious to me according to Your Promise.

In the Tabernacle of Old, one needed to enter into His presence behind a veil, in The Holiest of Holies, where His Presence shone forth. We too must enter in to an inner room a quiet devoted place in our heart and mind to seek His Face, in this place we find our Refuge and Our Protection.

Shine forth upon us today Lord Jesus, our very present help in Time of Trouble.

Psalms 119:65-72

v.67. Before I was Afflicted I went Astray, but now I obey your WORD

v71. It Was Good for me to be Afflicted so that I might learn Your Decrees.

In this COVID 19, year of pandemic and pandemonium (interesting that both of those terms have pan : ancient goat god and demon root words in them). We see God’s people specifically the Church rediscovering its voice and God given purpose in the earth. The Lord will use judgement (even the ungodly) to correct His people. We have All gone astray but He is restoring and reviving His wayward church. AWAKEN OUR DESIRES TO YOUR WILL O LORD!

Psalms 119:73-80

Yod; a Hand, a Finished Work-10

V73. Your HANDS have made me and formed me; give me Understanding to learn Your Commands.

From the very moment of conception YOU Knew everything about me, my purpose and even the end of my days. I am fearfully and Wonderfully made. You declare the the end from the very begining.

How I love your WORD O LORD, when I open it up it brings forth Marvel and Great Treasure. It IS my joy and delight.

Bless YOUR HOLY NAME

Psalms 119:81-88; Kaph-20; the open palm, to Oppress or Uplift

V83. Though I am like a Wineskin in the Smoke, I do not forget your decrees.

V86. All your Commands are trustworthy, help me, for men persecute me wihtout cause.

V88. Preserve my life according to your Love, and I will obey the statutes of Your Mouth.

2020 the year of two “kaphs” both hands to uplift or both hands to oppress. We see them in action this very day in this year. As the silencing of the church through oppressive government restrictions becomes a heavier burden, under the guise and mis-information of a viral pandemic. To install a form of dictatorial rule. We see another set of hands in opposition trying to encourage and uplift to stop the spread of FEAR and give HOPE. To be a FREE people without an oppressive government.

Father in Heaven, empower your people through the declaration of Your WORD. In BOLDNESS and in TRUTH. So that even though oppression may come our way, we may be able to uplift and sustain those around us. For your goodness and for Your Kingdom’s sake.

Psalms 119:89-96

Lamedh; =30, A staff, rod, guide forward, teach

V89. Your WORD, O LORD is Eternal; it Stands firm in the Heavens.

V92. If Your law had not been my DELIGHT, I would have perished in my affliction.

V96. To ALL perfection I see a limit; but Your Commands are boundless.

AT the age of 30 The Lord Jesus Christ began to TEACH. Psalms 23 states “thy Rod and thy Staff, they comfort me”. His WORD and HIS SPIRIT are here to teach and guide us into the Way of ALL Truth. His Word is equal to His Name. It is eternal and everlasting. He Stands Firm to see it fulfilled and accomplished. To write it upon Our hearts and not upon stone, so that we would be His people and He would be our God.

Thank you gracious LORD, for your WORD (Law, Decrees, Commands), we give you permission and guide us forward as The Good Shepherd; beside the “still waters and a banquet feast in the presence of our enemy”. May your WORD comfort us always.

Psalms 119:97-104

Mem: 40; water, mighty, to come from, the deep (chaos)

V97. Oh how I Love Your law! I Meditate on it all Day long.

V99. I have more insight than all my teachers, for I Meditate on Your Statutes.

V102. I have not departed from Your laws, for Your Yourself have taught me.

V103. How Sweet are Your Words to my taste, Sweeter than Honey to my mouth.

As deep calls unto deep O LORD, you call out from the deep waters, to draw us out to you so that You might make yourself known to us. That we might ponder your marvelous mysteries hidden in creation. May Your Word be ever present on our hearts and minds. 40 Days did the rains fall upon Noah. 40 Days did your only begotten rely upon your Word as He faced the adversary of our souls to be mighty in Your Power. Strengthen us according to the washing of Water from your Word!

Psalms 119:105-112

V105. Your WORD is a Lamp to my feet and a Light for my Path.

The WAY The TRUTH and The LIFE. The WORD made FLESH.

Not only will the Word of the Lord provide Wisdom so that where our feet tread is on solid ground on that WAY that is narrow, Its Promise is to prepare the WAY before us to show us our course and direction. To lead us unto redemption, as joint heirs with Christ Jesus. From beginning of the journey to the very end.

Lord help us to stay on track, keeping our eyes fixed upon you the Author and Perfecter of our faith.

Psalms 119: 113-120

Samekh= #60: A prop, support, aid, slow twisting ; like a vine or plant

v114. You are my Refuge and my Shield, I have put my Hope in Your Word.

V116. Sustain me according to Your Promise, and I will Live; do not let my hopes be dashed.

V117. Uphold me, and I will be delivered; I will always have regard for Your Decrees.

We have The Comforter, THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD to stand along side of us, to bear us up, through Him we are More than conquerors. We overcome, the storms and trials this life will most certainly place on our journey, through ALL the Promises in His Word and confidence in His Faithfulness. He IS our All in All! He promises to Never leave us or forsake us. We put All of our Trust in Him, as we abide in Him.

Psalms 119: 123-128

Ayin – 70, The Eye, to see, understand, a fountain

V 123. My EYES fail, looking for Your Salvation, looking for Your Righteous Promise

V 125. I am Your servant, give me Discernment that I may Understand Your Statutes.

V127. Because I love Your Commands more than gold, more than pure gold,

Sometimes we look with our natural eyes and we think God is FAR off. In the reality though we later discover He was working everything together for Good. WE must learn to See with a more spiritually discerning Eye, to better Understand the things that are hidden beneath the surface, in our circumstance as well as in His WORD. That a Fountain of TRUTH, a River of LIFE would flow from each of us.

Psalms 119:129-136

Phe – #80; Mouth, an opening or Entrance, speak, or present

V130. The UNFOLDING of Your WORDS gives Light; it gives Understanding to the simple.

V131. I Open my Mouth and pant, longing for Your Commands.

V135. Make Your Face Shine upon Your servant and Teach me Your Decrees.

This Book known as The Bible, is like a hidden Treasure. The Unfolding of it, that is the opening up of it, causes us to seek and desire (pant) for the eternal truths hidden with in its more simpler interpretations; to Reveal (unveiling), Illuminate (light), so that we are transformed from the inner most being. The Holy Spirit will guide us into All Truth as we set our interest and desires (face) as a flint upon His WORD. To Reflect The Shining of His Face upon us. MORE OF YOU LORD!!!

Psalms 119:137-144

Inescapable, fish hook, righteous, desire, harvest, trouble

V137. Righteous are You O Lord, and Your laws are Right.

V142. Your Righteousness is everlasting, and Your law is True.

V143. Trouble and Distress have come upon me, but Your Commands are my Delight.

As a fish that is captured on a hook, so to are we who love your word. You draw us closer and closer through your righteousness and your precepts to change us from glory to glory. You are the eternal living God and even when trials and adversaries surround us on every side, we will delight in Your Promises. Grant us the strength and courage we need to TRUST in You in spite of the waves around us!

A Desperate Cry

Psalms 119: 145-152

V 145. I call with All my heart; answer me O LORD, and I will obey Your decrees

V 146. I call out to You; Save me and I will keep Your statutes.

V 147. I rise before dawn and cry for help; I have put my Hope in your Word

V 152. Long ago I learned from your statutes that You established them to Last Forever.

The End, that which is Final, The last of something, is usually the beginning of something anew. Jesus (Yeshua) cried out from the cross “It is Finished”. But it wasn’t the End, no the Church was birthed 50 days later. The Church Age, may be coming to a close; that does not mean it is All over, it is only the Beginning of Eternity. While dispensations may continue on earth, all creation is longing for the revelation of the Sons of God, to be redeemed from the curse. A day of reckoning is approaching. As we wait that blessed day we find ourselves in conflict, as in labor pains. We The Church Must Cry out In sincere Desperation, in the fulness of this Time, for He alone is Our Hope and Our Salvation.

A Suffering – Servant/King

Psalms 119:153-160

V153. Look upon My Suffering and deliver me, for I have not forgotten Your Law.

V154. Defend my cause and Redeem me, Preserve my life according to Your promise.

V157. Many are the foes who Persecute me, but I have not turned from Your Statutes.

V160. All Your Words are TRUE; all Your Righteous Laws are Eternal.

“The greatest among you will be your servant“. Mt. 23:11.

To be a chief in in Kingdom of God, one must know how to be a humble and lowly servant. The example set forth by The Lord Jesus Christ was that of a servant. He who who framed the fabric of the universe, served in humility his own creation. The Greatest among us IS the One that was obedient and redeemed us and set us FREE. Should we not then live by that example.

In Him will I Put My Name…

Psalms 119:161-168

Sin/Shin: 300; Teeth, devour, consume (Hidden name El Shaddai)

V162. I rejoice in Your Promise like one who finds great spoil.

V164. Seven times a day I praise You, for Your Righteous Laws.

V165. Great peace have they who Love Your Law, and NOTHING can make them stumble.

HaShem, is the NAME, and as Noah’s son Shem received the crown of blessing for the source of The blessing is in His Name. His Name and His Word are one and the same. Therefore we find Great joy! The richest of treasures are discovered in His Word for it reveals Who is in The Name. To KNOW HIM and to be known by Him, to make Him known in the earth.

Holy Spirit of The Living God (YHWH, Yeshua Ha Mashiach; The Word and The Name) may we be consumed by Your Presence and Righteousness. May the Peace that passes All understanding keep our hearts and minds focused on You alone.

Psalms 119:169-176

V 169. May my cry come before You, O LORD; give me understanding according to Your Word.

V 174. I long for Your Salvation, O LORD and Your Law is my delight.

V 176. I have strayed like a Lost Sheep. Seek your servant, for I have not forgotten Your Commands.

At the Cross of Christ Jesus. The Covenant in His Blood. Heaven met earth. The Lost are Found. He brings together Jew and Gentile, Sealed with the Promised Holy Spirit, The Aleph and the Tav, the first and the last. The Author and perfecter of Our Faith.

The Word became flesh and made His Dwelling among us. We have seen His Glory, The Glory of The Father, Full of Grace and Truth . (Jn 1:14 NIV)

O How I Love You LORD, and Your Word is the JOY of My Heart.

FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS.
